Coordinating and styling fashion shoot for bananareel.ie (no longer running). See the shoot here
The last 2 years have been quite eventful. Thank you to everyone who worked with me during this time for shoots, shows, interviews, publications and all things blog related. It has been a great experience and also fantastic to meet you all. Thanks also to everyone who has supported this blog, shared links and to all who have been loyal followers :)
Lately I have realised that a lot of blogs I read have the same headlines. I adore these blogs and follow them loyally, but I want to put a new slant on my blogging. While I want to continue with the occasional look of the day and the odd write up of what’s on trend, I also want to discover new talent, work with more people, get together with other people who are trying to break into the fashion/music industry and generally gain more experience in everything, while bringing you all with me on the journey.
So if you have an idea (fashion or musical projects) and you want to get in touch, why not send me an email at email@example.com !
So do we love or do we hate? Personally it’s not my taste at all. However I do see the girlish charm that might appeal to someone whose style is more feminine and dainty.
It’s said that the collection, to be released mid-feb, was inspired by Harajuku girls mixed with British sub-cultures like grunge and goth. I’m not too sure if I see that in the collection. However, this is just the promo for the collection and we will get a closer look at the pieces when they are released.
Something interesting about the collection is that the signature print is the models own eyeball !
When I saw these I couldn’t resist posting about them. All these cartoon leggings are from Romwe.com and they are all inexpensive priced in or around the €24 mark. A super fun way to jazz up any outfit and show your inner child! Team them with an oversized T-shirt and a parka, throw on your docs or converse and you’re away with it. The great thing about these is they are the statement piece in your outfit, so everything else you wear with them can be simple and easy to throw on. Perfect for that lazy day! :)
Well I’ve leveled it down. Here is my round up of December photos. It was such an eventful time from moving into the new apartment by the sea with himself, singing projects, going to many gigs, surprise Christmas dinner made by the bf, Christmas and family time and to end a fantastic month, a new nephew and niece. I would love to put photos of them up but I don’t have any yet. 2013 is going to be a really good year for everyone!! I can feel it :)
Once again, have a good one guys! Happy New Year! xxx
Another year has passed and once again it’s time to make those New Year resolutions. Taking a look back at last year it is no surprise to me that as usual I did not stick to my 2012 resolutions, so this year I will begin with an obvious one…
1) Stick to my new year resolutions!
Last year Ipromised myself I would get my driving license. Well I’m half way there so my second resolution for 2013 is…
2) Get my full drivers license.
I’ve been wracking my brain for the last month but I just cannot think of any more. I’m pretty happy right now so there’s nothing I would really change. Maybe a new course and do some traveling?
·Everything that happens happens for a reason.
·All negative happenings shall pass.
·What’s for you won’t pass you.
Maybe my third resolution should be simply to remember those sayings because they are TRUE. The world will only end when you stop living it. Try not to get burdened with the daily chores and paying bills. Life is something to enjoy the way you want to. Stop worrying about making more money and start figuring out what it is that you love and would love to work as. Everything else will fall into place.
